Major Frederick Frank Ramsden was born on 8 December 1867.2 He was the son of Reverend Frederick John Ramsden and Anna Cassandra Henniker.2 He married Selina Lucinda Mackinnon, daughter of Edmund Vernon Mackinnon and Selina Arabella Boultbee, on 27 September 1893.2 He died on 2 April 1937 at age 69.2

Maj.-Gen. Daniel Henry Loudoun Mackinnon was born on 18 September 1813.1 He was the son of Daniel Mackinnon and Rachel Yeamans Eliot.2 He married Caroline Dimsdale, daughter of Thomas Robert Dimsdale, 4th Baron Dimsdale, on 12 October 1847.1 He died on 7 January 1884 at age 70.1
He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1836 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was commissioned in 1836, in the service of the 16th Lancers.1 He fought in the Afghan War between 1838 and 1839.1 He fought in the Sikh War in 1840.1 He wrote the book Military Services and Adventures in the Far East, published 1849.1 He wrote the book British Military Power in India.1 He retired from the military in 1878, with the rank of Major-General, late of the 6th Dragoon Guards.1 He lived at Binfield, Berkshire, England.1
