     Colonel Eric Dighton Mackenzie was born on 22 August 1891.¹ He was the son of Sir Allan Russell Mackenzie of Glenmuick, 2nd Bt. and Lucy Eleanora Davidson.² He married Elizabeth Katherine Mary Innes, daughter of Captain James William Guy Innes and Anna Orrok Stronach Sheila Foster Forbes, on 15 November 1948.¹ He died on 8 August 1972 at age 80.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice and was wounded three times.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Scots Guards.¹ He was Comptroller for the Governor-General of Canada between 1931 and 1939.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1935.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was invested as a Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1939.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Argyllshire in 1953.¹

     Caroline Ward was baptised on 2 May 1819 at St. Leonards, Shoreditch, London, England.¹ She was the daughter of William Ward and Rebecca (?).¹ She married Michael Samuel Myers, son of Samuel Myers, on 3 October 1844 at St. Martins in the Fields, London, England.¹
      From 3 October 1844, her married name became Myers.¹

     Sir James William Guy Mackenzie of Glenmuick, 5th Bt. was born on 6 October 1946.² He is the son of Colonel Eric Dighton Mackenzie and Elizabeth Katherine Mary Innes.³ He married, firstly, Paulene Patricia Simpson in 1972.² He and Paulene Patricia Simpson were divorced in 1980.² He married, secondly, Sally Ann Howard in 1996.²
      Sir James William Guy Mackenzie of Glenmuick, 5th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Guy.² He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.² He was vice-president of Crown Royale International USA between 1979 and 1981.² He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Mackenzie, of Glenmuick, co. Aberdeen [U.K., 1890] on 5 January 1993.¹
