     Colonel William Colquhoun Grant McGrigor was born on 25 November 1861.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Rhoderic McGrigor, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Nickle.2 He died on 4 September 1924 at age 62.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign in 1885.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was commander of the 174th Brigade between 1914 and 1917.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Scots Guards.1 He was Honorary Brigadier-General of the 2nd Battalion, Scots Guards in 1918.1

     George Duncan McGrigor was born on 26 October 1867.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Rhoderic McGrigor, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Nickle.2 He married Margaret Roberta Mackenzie, daughter of James Mackenzie, on 1 August 1903.1 He died on 12 February 1953 at age 85, without issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1
