Sir George Hare, 5th Bt. was born circa 1691.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Hare, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Dashwood.1 He died on 18 March 1764, unmarried.1
He gained the rank of Major in the Dragoons. He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hare, of Stow Bardolph, Norfolk [E., 1641] on 21 February 1760.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
