John Lewthwaite1

     John Lewthwaite was the son of Thomas Lewthwaite and Frances Askew.2 He died in 1642 at EdgehillG, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the royalist foot regiment.1 He fought in the Battle of Edgehill in 1642.1

     James Lewthwaite was the son of Thomas Lewthwaite and Frances Askew.2 He married Agnes Dickson, daughter of William Dickson.1 He died circa 26 March 1677.1 He was buried on 29 March 1677.1
     He lived at Broadgate, Thwaites, Cumberland, England.1
