     He was given the name of John Peter Pelham Bordewich at birth.3 In 1977 his name was legally changed to John Peter Pelham Pelham-Clinton by Deed Poll.3

     Adela Harriett Pelham-Clinton was the daughter of Lord Charles Pelham Pelham-Clinton and Elizabeth Grant.1,2 She married, firstly, John Campbell of Stonefield, son of Colin George Campbell, 5th of Stonefield and Elizabeth Fitzgibbon, on 2 August 1871.2 She married, secondly, Colonel George Hastings Brooke, son of George Augustus Frederick Brooke and Lady Arabella Georgina Hastings, on 24 February 1903.2 She died on 21 May 1915.1
     From 2 August 1871, her married name became Campbell. From 24 February 1903, her married name became Brooke.

     John Campbell of Stonefield was born on 19 May 1845.2 He was the son of Colin George Campbell, 5th of Stonefield and Elizabeth Fitzgibbon.3,2 He married Adela Harriett Pelham-Clinton, daughter of Lord Charles Pelham Pelham-Clinton and Elizabeth Grant, on 2 August 1871.3 He died in 1885.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Queen's Regiment.3

     Colonel George Hastings Brooke was born on 21 June 1842.1 He was the son of George Augustus Frederick Brooke and Lady Arabella Georgina Hastings.1 He married, firstly, Beatrice Georgina Carden, daughter of Sir John Craven Carden, 4th Bt. and Caroline Elizabeth Mary Milner, on 12 September 1868.1 He married, secondly, Adela Harriett Pelham-Clinton, daughter of Lord Charles Pelham Pelham-Clinton and Elizabeth Grant, on 24 February 1903.1 He died on 5 April 1922 at age 79.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 48th Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 4th Battalion, Prince of Wales' Leinster Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel.1

     Lord Thomas Charles Pelham-Clinton was born on 3 December 1813.1 He was the son of Henry Pelham Pelham-Clinton, 4th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne and Georgina Elizabeth Mundy.1 He married Marianne Gritton, daughter of Francis Gritton, on 31 July 1843.1 He and Marianne Gritton were separated in 1865 judicial.1 He died on 28 February 1882 at age 68.1
