Sir Henry Christopher Grattan-Bellew, 3rd Bt. was born on 1 June 1860.2 He was the son of Thomas Arthur Grattan-Bellew and Pauline Grattan.2 He married Lady Sophia Maria Elizabeth Forbes, daughter of George Arthur Hastings Forbes, 7th Earl of Granard and Jane Colclough Morgan, on 11 February 1885.1 He died on 20 January 1942 at age 81.
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bellew, of Mount Bellew, co. Galway [U.K., 1838] on 18 March 1867.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 5th Dragoon Guards.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1884.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 4th Battalion Connaught Rangers.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Galway in 1922.2 He lived at Mount Bellew, County Galway, IrelandG.3
