     Jacobina Stuart is the daughter of Sir James Stuart of Coltness.2 She married Charles Hamilton, 12th of Fairholm, son of John Hamilton, 11th of Fairholm and Margaret Roberton, in 1766.1
     From 1766, her married name became Hamilton.

Charles Hamilton, 13th of Fairholm and Kirkton1

     Charles Hamilton, 13th of Fairholm and Kirkton was born on 29 August 1766.1 He was the son of Charles Hamilton, 12th of Fairholm and Jacobina Stuart.2 He married Anne Scrivener, daughter of John Hadley Scrivener, on 21 October 1797.1 He died on 2 December 1821 at age 55.1
     He purchased Kirkton in 1787.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 13th Light Dragoons.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Lanarkshire Militia.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Burgess of Linlithgow in 1800.1

     From 21 October 1797, her married name became Hamilton.

     John Hamilton, 14th of Fairholm and Kirkton was born on 2 March 1804.1 He was the son of Charles Hamilton, 13th of Fairholm and Kirkton and Anne Scrivener.2 He married Grace Dundas Hamilton, daughter of Reverend Dr. unknown Hamilton, on 24 February 1835.1 He died on 12 September 1867 at age 63, without issue.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1
