     Michael Paul Williamson was born on 10 July 1957.¹ He is the son of Paul Kenyon Williamson and Gillian Anderson Smith.² He married Jill Melanie Pritchard on 22 July 1978.¹
     He was educated Rugby and Clare College Cambridge.¹
