     Major Roy Henry Montague Johnstone was born on 13 July 1919.1 He was the son of Major Montague Joseph Charles Somerset Johnstone and Mary Marian Spottiswood Bayley.2 He married, firstly, Barbara Marjorie Warre, daughter of Major Felix Walter Warre and Marjorie Monteith Hamilton, on 30 September 1939.1 He and Barbara Marjorie Warre were divorced in 1960.1 He married, secondly, Françoise Terlinden in 1961.1 He died on 17 December 2004 at age 85.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of GSO(3) in the War Office AFV.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 60th Rifles.1 He gained the rank of GSO(2) in the HQ Home Forces RAC.1 He gained the rank of GSO(2) in the HQ 21st Army Group RAC.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.1 He was member of the London Stock Exchange between 1956 and 1974.1

     Barbara Marjorie Warre was born on 1 March 1920.2 She was the daughter of Major Felix Walter Warre and Marjorie Monteith Hamilton.3,2 She married Major Roy Henry Montague Johnstone, son of Major Montague Joseph Charles Somerset Johnstone and Mary Marian Spottiswood Bayley, on 30 September 1939.1 She and Major Roy Henry Montague Johnstone were divorced in 1960.1 She died in 1990.1
     From 30 September 1939, her married name became Johnstone.

     Roland Richard Montague Johnstone was born on 22 January 1941.1 He was the son of Major Roy Henry Montague Johnstone and Barbara Marjorie Warre.2 He married Sara Outram Boileau Whitehead, daughter of Lt.-Col. J. G. O. Whitehead, on 24 February 1968.1 He died on 21 December 2007 at age 66.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1959 in the 2nd Greenjackets (KRRC.)1 He was a practising solicitor in 1967.1 He was partner of Slaughter & May between 1973 and 1991.1 He lived in 2003 at Poorton Hill, Powerstock, Bridport, Dorset, England.1

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was with Unilever, seconded to United Africa County Nigeria in 1966 in 1962.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Queen's Royal Rifles (Territorial Army.)1 He was with Guinness Overseas Ltd in Africa and the Far East (and then Diageo) between 1972 and 2002.3 He lived in 2003 at 42 Howards Wood Drive, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1
