     Mary Gertrude Jones was the daughter of E. Madoc Jones.2 She married Charles Julius Johnstone, son of Reverend Vanden Bempdé Johnstone and Louisa Scarth, on 22 December 1885.1 She died on 29 April 1930.1
     From 22 December 1885, her married name became Johnstone.

     He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.1

     Commander Richard Noel Johnstone was born on 25 December 1896.1 He was the son of Charles Julius Johnstone and Mary Gertrude Jones.2 He married Mary Edmée Campbell, daughter of Charles William Campbell, on 5 January 1933.1 He died on 21 December 1988 at age 91 at Rye, Sussex, England.3
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Commande in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
