Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy, 1st Bt. 2
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [Bombay].1 He was a Parsee merchant.1 He was invested as a Knight bachelor in 1842.1 He was created 1st Baronet Jejeebhoy, of Bombay [U.K.] on 6 August 1857.1 On 6 August 1857 by special Act of Indian Legislative Council all subsequent Baronets were to take the 1st Baronet's name.1

Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy, 2nd Bt. was born on 9 October 1811.1 He was the son of Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy, 1st Bt. and Awabai Framji Nusserwanjee.2 He married, firstly, Deenbai Saher, daughter of Dadabhai Saher.1 He married, secondly, Ruttonbai Cursetjee Surti on 29 November 1835.1 He died on 11 July 1877 at age 65.1
He was given the name of Cursetjee Jejeebhoy at birth.1 On 14 April 1859 his name was legally changed to Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Jejeebhoy, of Bombay [U.K., 1857] on 14 April 1859.1
