     Robert Irvine, 1st of Moncoffer is the son of Alexander Irvine, 8th of Drum and Lady Elizabeth Keith.² He married, secondly, Margaret Skene, daughter of Alexander Skene, 12th of that Ilk.¹
     In 1589 Master of Household to 5th Earl Marischal when he later escorted James VI and I's bride, Anne of Denmark, to Scotland.¹

     Margaret Skene is the daughter of Alexander Skene, 12th of that Ilk.² She married Robert Irvine, 1st of Moncoffer, son of Alexander Irvine, 8th of Drum and Lady Elizabeth Keith.¹
     Her married name became Irvine.

     James Irvine was the son of Alexander Irvine, 8th of Drum and Lady Elizabeth Keith.² He married Lucrece Irvine, daughter of Robert Irvine of Tillylair.¹ He died in 1636.³
     On 5 February 1598 he had a charter of Brucklaw from his father.¹

     Robert Irvine of Tillylair was the son of Alexander Irvine of Lonmay and Elizabeth Ogilvy.² He married Janet Leslie.³ He died in 1600.³
     He was ancestor of the Irvines of Fortrie.¹

     John Irvine, 2nd of Brucklaw was the son of James Irvine and Lucrece Irvine.² He died before 20 September 1679.¹
     On 2 October 1633 he was served heir as 2nd of Brucklaw.¹ He was Commissioner of War for Aberdeenshire in 1648.¹

     Alexander Irvine was the son of John Irvine, 2nd of Brucklaw.² He died, without issue.¹
     On 5 June 1640 he had sasine of Ironsydes.¹

     Christian Irvine is the daughter of John Irvine, 2nd of Brucklaw.² She married Alexander Forbes, son of Thomas Forbes of Meikle Auchreddie.¹
     Her married name became Forbes.¹
