      From 3 January 1889, her married name became Cripps.3

     Beaumont Williams Hotham was born on 22 August 1825.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Hon. Sir Henry Hotham and Lady Frances Anne Juliana Rous.2 He married Charlotte Amelia Rich, daughter of Admiral George Frederick Rich, on 13 March 1855.1 He died on 14 July 1915 at age 89.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Grenadier Guards.1 He was UK Consul to Calais between 1859 and 1882.1
