     Sir John Hotham, 3rd Bt. was born on 2 August 1656.1 He was the son of Sir John Hotham, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Beaumont.2 He married Catherine Heron, daughter of John Heron, on 5 February 1678.1 He died in 1691, without male issue.1
     He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Hotham [E., 1622] in 1689.1
