     John de Hotham was the son of Robert de Hotham and Alice (?)2 He died in 1299.1
     He lived at Scorborough, Yorkshire, England.1 On 16 July 1290 he was granted free-warren (right of keeping or hunting certain kinds of game) in his lands of Hotham, Scorborough and Birsley.1

     Sir John de Hotham was the son of John de Hotham.2 He married Agnes Daniel, daughter of Adam Daniel.1 He died circa 1348.1
     He was Commissioner of Oyer and Terminer (i.e., granted right to her criminal cases) and Commissioner of Array, Yorkshire (roughly local militia recruiting officer.)2 He was Collector of Subsidies (taxes.)1 He lived at Scorborough, Yorkshire, England.1 He fought in the Battle of Boroughbridge on 16 March 1321/22.2

     Sir John de Hotham was the son of Sir John de Hotham and Agnes Daniel.2 He married Agnes de Heslarton, daughter of Sir John de Heslarton.1 He died in 1370.1
     He lived at Scorborough, Yorkshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yorkshire in 1324.1 He was Commissioner of Array in 1335.1 He was Collector of Subsidies Yorkshire in 1341.1

     Sir John de Hotham was the son of Sir John de Hotham and Agnes de Heslarton.2 He married Matilda Hilton, daughter of unknown Hilton, 4th Baron Hilton.1 He died circa 1370.1
     In 1354 he was granted Manor of Carnaby by Henry de Percy (presumably one of the Earls of Northumberland's family.)1 He lived at Scorborough, Yorkshire, England.1
