     Sir James Fenton Hort, 8th Bt. was born on 6 September 1926.¹ He was the son of Sir Fenton George Hort, 7th Bt. and Lucy Rachel Gwendolene Alcock.² He married Joan Peat, daughter of Edward Peat, on 4 January 1951.¹ He died on 19 July 1995 at age 68.¹

Middlesex [G.B., 1767] on 5 March 1960.¹ He was medical director of Berkshire Pharmaceuticals and A H Robins Company.¹

     Richard Patrick Arthur Hort was born on 3 January 1931.¹ He is the son of Sir Fenton George Hort, 7th Bt. and Lucy Rachel Gwendolene Alcock.² He married Agnete Maria Mannheimer, daughter of Nils Mannheimer, on 16 June 1956.¹
