Sir Francis Michael Morton Peto, 5th Bt. was born on 11 January 1949.2 He is the son of Sir Henry George Morton Peto, 4th Bt. and Frances Jacqueline Evers.2 He married Felicity Margaret Burns, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Alan Burns and Joyce Margaret August, on 12 October 1974.2
He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Leeds University, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, EnglandG.2 He lived at Cowdenknowes Mains, Earlston, Berwickshire, Scotland.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Peto, of Sommerleyton, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1855] on 17 December 2010.
