     Mary Urmson was the daughter of George Urmson.² She married Maj.-Gen. John Edward Hope, son of Colonel John Isaac Hope and Margaret Letitia Molesworth, on 10 June 1880.¹ She died on 25 January 1929.¹

     Colonel John Urmson Hope was born on 25 June 1881.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. John Edward Hope and Mary Urmson.² He married Christine Jessie Shelton Hooper, daughter of Augustus Shelton Hooper, on 27 November 1907.¹ He died on 21 October 1967 at age 86.¹
