     Sir Harold Joseph Hood, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 January 1916.¹ He is the son of Sir Joseph Hood, 1st Bt. and Marie Josephine Robinson.² He married Hon. Ferelith Rosemary Florence Kenworthy, daughter of Joseph Montague Kenworthy, 10th Baron Strabolgi, on 30 April 1946.¹
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Hood, of Wimbledon, co. Surrey [U.K., 1922] on 10 January 1931.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1939 in the service of the 58 Middlesex Battalion, Royal Engineers (AA) (Territorial Army).¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1941 in the service of the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army).¹ He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1950.¹ He was editor of The Catholic Who's Who 1952 edition
in 1952.³ He was circulation director of the Universe between 1953 and 1960.³ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Gregory the Great (K.S.G.) in 1954.³ He was circulation director of the Catholic Herald between 1961 and 1987.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Knight Magistral Grace, Soveriegn Military Order of Malta in 1972.³ He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Gregory the Great (K.S.G.) in 1986.³ He lived in 2003 at 31 Avenue Road, St. John's Wood, London, England.¹

     John William Hood was born on 16 April 1893.¹ He was the son of William Hood and Jane Munton.¹

     Hon. Ferelith Rosemary Florence Kenworthy was the daughter of Joseph Montague Kenworthy, 10th Baron Strabolgi.² She married Sir Harold Joseph Hood, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Joseph Hood, 1st Bt. and Marie Josephine Robinson, on 30 April 1946.¹ She died on 16 July 2003.¹
      From 30 April 1946, her married name became Hood.

     Timothy Joseph Madach Hood was born on 25 May 1951.² He was the son of Sir Harold Joseph Hood, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Ferelith Rosemary Florence Kenworthy.³ He died on 25 May 1951.¹

     John Joseph Harold Hood was born on 27 August 1952.¹ He is the son of Sir Harold Joseph Hood, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Ferelith Rosemary Florence Kenworthy.²

     Basil Gervase Francis Gerard Hood was born on 4 October 1955.¹ He is the son of Sir Harold Joseph Hood, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Ferelith Rosemary Florence Kenworthy.² He married Alison Susan Williams on 9 September 2001.¹
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.³ He graduated from London University, London, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹

     Alison Susan Williams married Basil Gervase Francis Gerard Hood, son of Sir Harold Joseph Hood, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Ferelith Rosemary Florence Kenworthy, on 9 September 2001.¹
      From 9 September 2001, her married name became Hood.

     Benedict Adam Wiseman was born on 8 March 1980.¹ He is the son of Basil Gervase Francis Gerard Hood.²

     Josepha Ferelith Emma Margaret-Mary Hood was born on 17 October 1953.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Harold Joseph Hood, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Ferelith Rosemary Florence Kenworthy.² She married Ian Murray, son of Sir Donald Murray, in 1981.¹
     She was educated at St. Mary's Convent School, Ascot, Berkshire, England.³ She graduated from Bristol University, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ From 1981, her married name became Murray.
