     John Charles Wallop, 3rd Earl of Portsmouth was born on 18 December 1767.¹ He was the son of John Wallop, 2nd Earl of Portsmouth and Urania Fellowes.¹ He married, firstly, Hon. Grace Norton, daughter of Fletcher Norton, 1st Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield and Grace Chapple, on 19 November 1799.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Anne Hanson, daughter of John Hanson, on 7 March 1814.² He and Mary Anne Hanson were divorced in 1823 on the grounds of his unsoundness of mind.² He died on 14 July 1853 at age 85, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Portsmouth, co. Southampton [G.B., 1743] on 16 May 1797.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Wallop, of Farley Wallop, co. Southampton [G.B., 1720] on 16 May 1797.² He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Lymington, County of Southampton [G.B., 1720] on 16 May 1797.²

     Hon. Eleanour Trehane Norton was the daughter of John Richard Brinsley Norton, 5th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield and Katharine Buckner McVickar.¹ She died on 16 March 1951, unmarried.¹

     Hon. Katharine Edith Carlotta Norton was the daughter of John Richard Brinsley Norton, 5th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield and Katharine Buckner McVickar.¹ She died on 9 February 1961, unmarried.¹

     Felicity Ann Mary Fotheringham married Thomas Newman Gilbey, son of Ralph Newman Gilbey and Barbara Scott, on 15 December 1979 at Kilconquhar Church, Fife, Scotland^G.¹
     From 15 December 1979, her married name became Gilbey.¹

     Christopher Newman Gilbey was born on 31 May 1981.¹ He is the son of Thomas Newman Gilbey and Felicity Ann Mary Fotheringham.¹

     Edward Newman Gilbey was born on 6 August 1982.¹ He is the son of Thomas Newman Gilbey and Felicity Ann Mary Fotheringham.¹

     Charlotte Ann Mary Gilbey was born on 14 June 1985.¹ She is the daughter of Thomas Newman Gilbey and Felicity Ann Mary Fotheringham.¹

     Amphyllis Weston is the daughter of Richard Weston.² She and Sir Benjamin Tichborne, 1st Bt. obtained a marriage license on 17 May 1571 at Skrynes, Roxwell, Essex, England^G.²
     From 17 May 1571, her married name became Tichborne.¹

     Sir Richard Tichborne, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1572 at Tichborne, Hampshire, England^G.² He was the son of Sir Benjamin Tichborne, 1st Bt. and Amphyllis Weston.² He married, firstly, Ellen White, daughter of Robert White.¹ He married, secondly, Susan Waller, daughter of William Waller, in 1616.¹ He died in April 1657.¹
     He was appointed Knight on 11 May 1603.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Tichborne, of Titchborne, co. Southampton [E., 1621] on 6 September 1629.³

     Sir Walter Tichborne was born circa 1573 at Tichborne, Hampshire, England^G.² He was the son of Sir Benjamin Tichborne, 1st Bt. and Amphyllis Weston.² He married Mary White, daughter of Robert White, on 7 May 1597.³ He died in 1640.³
     He was appointed Knight on 11 May 1603.³
