     He lived at Burton Grange, Yorkshire, England.1

     Elisabeth von Braunschweig was the daughter of Magnus II Herzog von Braunschweig and Catherine von Anhalt-Bernburg. She married Gerhard VI Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein, son of Heinrich II Graf von Holstein-Rendsburg and Ingeburg von Mecklenburg, in 1391. She died between 1417 and 1422.
     She was a member of the House of Guelph. She was also known as Catherine von Braunschweig.

     Magnus I Herzog von Braunschweig was born circa 1304. He was the son of Albrecht II Herzog von Braunschweig-Göttingen and Rixa von Werle.1 He married Sophie von Brandenburg, daughter of Heinrich I Markgraf von Brandenburg and Agnes von Bayern, circa 1327. He died circa July 1369.
      Magnus I Herzog von Braunschweig also went by the nick-name of Magnus 'the Pious'.1 He was a member of the House of Guelph.1 He succeeded to the title of Herzog von Braunschweig in 1345.1

     He gained the title of Graf von Holstein-Rendsburg.
