     Stephen Herbert Twining was born on 28 July 1895.1 He was the son of Reverend William Henry Greaves Twining and Agatha Georgina Bourne.1 He married Georgiana Elizabeth Gaskell, daughter of Francis Gaskell and Ada Elizabeth Wigan, on 23 November 1929.1 He died on 5 March 1961 at age 65.1
     He was Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1 He wrote the book Some Early Twinings, published 1927.1 He wrote the book 225 Years in the Strand, published 1931.1 He was a director of R. Twining & Company Ltd.1 He wrote the book The House of Twining: 250 years of tea and coffee, published 1950.1

     Georgiana Elizabeth Gaskell was born in 1896 at Kensington, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Francis Gaskell and Ada Elizabeth Wigan.1,2 She married Stephen Herbert Twining, son of Reverend William Henry Greaves Twining and Agatha Georgina Bourne, on 23 November 1929.1
     From 23 November 1929, her married name became Twining.1
