     Julia Showers was the daughter of General St. George Showers.1 She married, firstly, Colonel William Maxwell before 1890.1 She married, secondly, General Sir Julius Richard Glyn, son of Reverend Thomas Clayton Glyn and Jemima Julia Hammond, on 2 October 1890.1 She died on 12 August 1910.1
     From before 1890, her married name became Maxwell.1 From 2 October 1890, her married name became Glyn.1

     Barbara Jardine was the daughter of William Charles Ritchie Jardine.1 She married, firstly, G/Capt. Francis Henwood.1 She married, secondly, Colonel Sir Richard Hamilton Glyn, 5th/9th Bt., son of Sir Richard FitzGerald Glyn, 4th/8th Bt. and Edith Hilda Hamilton-Gordon, in 1970.1 She died on 15 June 1998.1
     Her married name became Henwood.1 From 1970, her married name became Glyn.1
