Leila Louisa Millicent Willoughby.1 He married Mary Katherine Clements, daughter of Reverend Edward Mansfield Clements, on 8 June 1916.1 He died on 31 July 1917 at age 38, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 6th Batalion, Cameron Highlanders.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.1 He fought in the First World War. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1

Leila Louisa Millicent Willoughby, on 8 June 1916.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Cyril Frankland Meares, son of Colonel George Brooke Meares and Augusta Mary Townshend, on 23 October 1919.1 She died in 1959.1
     From 8 June 1916, her married name became Russell. From 23 October 1919, her married name became Meares.

     Sir Thomas Wentworth Russell was born on 22 November 1879.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Charles Russell and Hon. Leila Louisa Millicent Willoughby.1 He married Evelyn Corothea Temple Moore, daughter of Francis Moore, on 1 June 1911.1 He died on 10 April 1954 at age 74.1
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He was Commandant of the Cairo City Police and Director of the Narcotic Intelligence Bureau.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1926.1 He was Director of Egyptian Government Anti-Narcotic Bureau between 1929 and 1946.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1938.1
