Colonel Sir Philip Pakenham1

     Colonel Sir Philip Pakenham was the son of Edmund Pakenham and Frances Seckford.2 He died in 1638, without issue abroad.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1617.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the English Brigade in the service of Dutch Republic.1

     He gained the rank of Ensign in the English Brigade in the service of Dutch Republic.1

     Robert Pakenham was born in 1592.1 He was the son of Edmund Pakenham and Frances Seckford.2 He married Jane Horsey, daughter of Jasper Horsey.1 He died in July 1638, from the plague.1
     He had two other sons (who died without issue.)1

     His male line died out by 1381.1 He gained the title of Lord of Pakenham Aspes, Suffolk [feudal barony].1

     Philip Pakenham was the son of Robert Pakenham and Jane Horsey.2 He died in 1683 at IrelandG, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Officer in 1644 in the Royalist Army.1
