John Clinton Greene was born in January 1839.1 He was the son of Richard Greene and Louisa Martin.2 He married Elizabeth Jane Coulson, daughter of John W. Blennerhassett Coulson, on 28 December 1875.1 He died on 17 February 1876 at age 37, drowned with his wife.1
