Owen Wynne Gray1

     Owen Wynne Gray was born on 24 July 1817.1 He was the son of Major Owen Wynne Gray and Mary Andrews.2,1 He married Jane Mary Josephine Hayden, daughter of Patrick Hayden, on 12 June 1852.1
     He gained the rank of officer in 1839 in the 39th Regiment at Gorapore.1 He fought in the Battle of Maharajpore in 1843.1 He retired from the military in 1860, with the rank of Captain, late of the 8th Regiment.1

     From 9 October 1828, her married name became McNair. From 28 May 1846, her married name became Minikin.1

     Captain Archibald McNair married Mary Eliza Gray, daughter of Major Owen Wynne Gray and Mary Andrews, on 9 October 1828.1 He died on 11 July 1838.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Madras Native Infantry.1
