Colonel Henry Grattan was born on 9 February 1839.1 He was the son of General John Grattan and Susannah Shine.2,1 He married Fannie Sarah Susannah Ireland, daughter of Richard S. Ireland, on 26 February 1872.1 He died on 24 January 1904 at age 64.1

Colonel Henry Grattan was born on 10 July 1903.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Grattan and Muriel Bright.1 He married Vera Kathleen Isabel Schofield, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Hugh Samuel Schofield, on 6 January 1934.1 He died in October 1997 at age 94 at Yeovil, Somerset, England.2
