Wills Crofts Gason, son of Richard Wills Gason and Anne Leslie, on 8 October 1862.1 She died on 4 November 1916.1
     From 28 December 1852, her married name became Douglas.3 From 8 October 1862, her married name became Gason.

     Major George Houghton Gason was born on 4 June 1867.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Wills Crofts Gason and Agnes Julia Rich.2 He married Mabel Marriott-Dodington, daughter of Reverend Henry Phelps Marriott-Dodington, on 11 December 1916.1 He died on 27 November 1941 at age 74.1
     He gained the rank of Adjtutant in the 4th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He was Embarkation Staff Officer, Southampton.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Kildare Militia and 3rd Battalion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers.1 He lived at Kilteelagh, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1 He lived at Syles, Henstridge, Somerset, EnglandG.1
