Jonas Studdert was born in 1758.1 He was the son of Richard Studdert and Mary Pratt.2 He married Mary Crowe, daughter of Thomas Crowe, on 19 March 1795.1 He died on 9 August 1827.1
He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Clare in 1797.1 He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.1 He lived at Claremount, County Clare, Ireland.1
