     Maria Alexandrina Veléz was the daughter of Don Manuel Veléz.² She married General Sir Frederick Richard Maunsell, son of Reverend Daniel Henry Maunsell and Louisa Jane Richardson, in 1862.¹ She died on 7 April 1883.¹
      From 1862, her married name became Maunsell.

     Brig.-Gen. Frederick Guy Maunsell was born on 14 February 1864.¹ He was the son of General Sir Frederick Richard Maunsell and Maria Alexandrina Veléz.² He married Hilda Irwin, daughter of Colonel Henry Irwin, on 24 March 1896.¹ He died on 11 September 1929 at age 65.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Legion d'Honneur.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the service of the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1917.¹

     Frederick Richard Guy Maunsell was born on 22 October 1898.¹ He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Frederick Guy Maunsell and Hilda Irwin.² He married Nancy Lilian St. Quintin, daughter of Ernest Edward St. Quintin and Lilian Maude Payne, on 27 August 1938.¹ He died on 9 May 1979 at age 80 at Berkshire, England.³
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Keyham, England.¹ He retired from the military in 1945, with the rank of Commander, late of the Royal Navy.¹ He lived in 1976 at Bridge Cottage, Hasketon, Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.¹

     Ernest Edward St. Quintin was born in 1863 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.² He married Lilian Maude Payne in 1899 at Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, England.² He died in 1942 at Surrey, England.²

     Nancy Lilian St. Quintin was born on 9 June 1905 at Wimbledon, Surrey, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Ernest Edward St. Quintin and Lilian Maude Payne.^4,3 She married Frederick Richard Guy Maunsell, son of Brig.-Gen. Frederick Guy Maunsell and Hilda Irwin, on 27 August 1938.¹ She died in June 1991.²
      From 27 August 1938, her married name became Maunsell.
