     General Sir Frederick Richard Maunsell was born on 4 September 1828.1 He was the son of Reverend Daniel Henry Maunsell and Louisa Jane Richardson.2 He married Maria Alexandrina Veléz, daughter of Don Manuel Veléz, in 1862.1 He died on 29 October 1916 at age 88.1
     He was educated at King Edward School, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.1 He was educated at Grosvenor College, Bath, Somerset, England.1 He was educated at Addiscombe Military College, Addiscombe, London, England.1 He fought in the Punjab Campaign between 1848 and 1849.1 He fought in the Indian Mutiny between 1857 and 1859.1 He fought in the Afghan War.1 He fought in the Rohiland Campaign.1 He fought in the Oude Campaign.1 He was honorary Aide-de-Camp to HE the Viceroy of India.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1897.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 1st King George's Own Sappers and Miners.1 He gained the rank of General in the service of the Royal Engineers.1

     Brig.-Gen. Frederick Guy Maunsell was born on 14 February 1864.1 He was the son of General Sir Frederick Richard Maunsell and Maria Alexandrina Veléz.2 He married Hilda Irwin, daughter of Colonel Henry Irwin, on 24 March 1896.1 He died on 11 September 1929 at age 65.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.1 He was decorated with the award of the Legion d'Honneur.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1917.1

      From 24 March 1896, her married name became Maunsell.

Frederick Guy Maunsell and Hilda Irwin.2 He married Nancy Lilian St. Quintin, daughter of Ernest Edward St. Quintin and Lilian Maude Payne, on 27 August 1938.1 He died on 9 May 1979 at age 80 at Berkshire, England.3
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Keyham, England.1 He retired from the military in 1945, with the rank of Commander, late of the Royal Navy.1 He lived in 1976 at Bridge Cottage, Hasketon, Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.1
