     Sir Edward Hasell was born on 27 November 1642.2 He was the son of Reverend Edward Hasell and Martha Smith.2 He married Jane Fetherstonhaugh, daughter of Sir Timothy Fetherstonhaugh.2 He married, secondly, Dorothy Williams, daughter of William Williams, on 24 November 1696.2 He died on 12 September 1707 at age 64.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff for Cumberland from 1682 to 1683.2 He was appointed Knight on 15 May 1699.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cumberland from 1701 to 1702.2

Proctor Humfris, on 10 August 1915 at St. Peter's Church, Norbiton, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Iris Neville.1 He died on 25 January 1964 at age 86 at St. Kilda, Birr, County Offaly, IrelandG.1
     He gained the rank of Surgeon in the Army Medical Department.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He retired from the military on 1 April 1934, with the rank of Colonel, late of the Indian Medical Service.1

     Maria Frances Geslip de Lautour was the daughter of Joseph François Louis de Lautour.1 She married, firstly, Sir Robert Townsend-Farquhar, 1st Bt., son of Sir Walter Farquhar, 1st Bt. and Anne Stevenson, on 10 January 1809.1 She married, secondly, Captain Thomas Hamilton, son of William Hamilton and Elizabeth Stirling, on 15 February 1834.1 She died on 27 August 1875.1
     From 10 January 1809, her married name became Townsend-Farquhar.1 From 15 February 1834, her married name became Hamilton.1
