     Caroline Sophia Sale was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Henry Sale.2 She married General Sir Rowley Sale-Hill, son of Rowley John Hill and Caroline Catherine Sale, on 30 March 1873.1 She died on 6 February 1932.1
     From 30 March 1873, her married name became Hill.
