     Arthur Wellington Heron Heron-Maxwell was born on 14 September 1852.¹ He was the son of Captain Sir John Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 6th Bt. and Caroline Stewart.² He married Alicia Blanche Buckle, daughter of Robert Thomas Buckle and Emily Alicia Foster, on 28 April 1896 at St. Peter's Church, Eaton Square, London, England.¹ He died on 3 December 1923 at age 71.¹

     Robert Thomas Buckle was baptised on 30 January 1828 at Bedale, Yorkshire, England.² He married Emily Alicia Foster in 1855 at Winterborne Monkton, Dorset, England.² He died on 7 September 1898 at age 70 at Margate, Kent, England.²
     He was educated at York Collegiate School, Clifton, Yorkshire, England.² He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)² He gained the rank of Surgeon in the H.M. Army.²

     Alicia Blanche Buckle was born on 30 August 1864 at Redcar, Yorkshire, England.² She was the daughter of Robert Thomas Buckle and Emily Alicia Foster.^3,2 She married Arthur Wellington Heron Heron-Maxwell, son of Captain Sir John Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 6th Bt. and Caroline Stewart, on 28 April 1896 at St. Peter's Church, Eaton Square, London, England.¹ She died on 27 February 1942 at age 77.¹
     From 28 April 1896, her married name became Heron-Maxwell.

     Spencer Horatio Walpole Heron Heron-Maxwell was born on 7 December 1855.¹ He was the son of Captain Sir John Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 6th Bt. and Caroline Stewart.² He married Beatrice Maude Emilia Eastwick, daughter of E. B. Eastwick and Rosina Jane Hunter, on 24 January 1891.¹ He died on 20 June 1907 at age 51, without issue.¹

     E. B. Eastwick was born on 13 March 1814.² He was the son of Captain Robert William Eastwick and Lucy King.² He married Rosina Jane Hunter, daughter of James Hunter.² He died on 16 July 1883 at age 69.²
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹

     Beatrice Maude Emilia Eastwick was the daughter of E. B. Eastwick and Rosina Jane Hunter.^2,3 She married, firstly, F. L. Huddart before 1891.¹ She married, secondly, Spencer Horatio Walpole Heron Heron-Maxwell, son of Captain Sir John Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 6th Bt. and Caroline Stewart, on 24 January 1891.¹ She died on 7 March 1927.¹
     From before 1891, her married name became Huddart.¹ From 24 January 1891, her married name became Heron-Maxwell.

     Caroline Mary Heron Heron-Maxwell was born in 1834.² She was the daughter of Captain Sir John Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 6th Bt. and Caroline Stewart.³ She died on 20 November 1922.¹

     Mary Katherine Dundonald Heron Heron-Maxwell was born in 1838.² She was the daughter of Captain Sir John Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 6th Bt. and Caroline Stewart.³ She died on 10 May 1934, unmarried.¹

     George Philip Willis, Baron Willis of Knaresborough was born on 30 November 1941.¹ He is the son of George Willis and Hannah Gillespie.¹ He married Heather Elizabeth Sellars in 1974.¹
