     Marian Maxwell was born on 8 August 1649.¹ She was the daughter of Sir George Maxwell of Auldhouse and Pollok and Annabella Stewart.² She married, firstly, James Stewart of Rosyth in December 1674.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Charles Murray of Dreghorn, Bt. circa 1706.¹
     From December 1674, her married name became Stewart. From circa 1706, her married name became Murray.¹

     James Stewart of Rosyth married Marian Maxwell, daughter of Sir George Maxwell of Auldhouse and Pollok and Annabella Stewart, in December 1674.¹ He died, without issue.¹

     Annabella Maxwell was baptised on 24 May 1657.¹ She was the daughter of Sir George Maxwell of Auldhouse and Pollok and Annabella Stewart.² She married, firstly, John Cathcart of Carleton on 28 November 1679.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Robert Pollok of Pollok circa January 1686.¹
     From 28 November 1679, her married name became Cathcart. From circa January 1686, her married name became Pollok.¹

     John Cathcart of Carleton married Annabella Maxwell, daughter of Sir George Maxwell of Auldhouse and Pollok and Annabella Stewart, on 28 November 1679.¹

     Margaret Maxwell was the daughter of Sir George Maxwell of Auldhouse and Pollok and Annabella Stewart.² She married Alexander Maxwell of Calderwood, younger on 30 September 1684.¹ She died in 1685, without issue.¹
