     Alexander Murray Hay was born on 24 January 1799.¹ He was the son of John Hay and Christian Ker.² He married Eleanor Mylechreest, daughter of Thomas Mylechreest, in May 1842.¹ He died on 17 July 1864 at age 65.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 51st Foot King's Own.¹ He lived at Ramsey, Isle of Man^G, Ramsay.¹

     Eleanor Mylechreest was the daughter of Thomas Mylechreest.¹ She married Alexander Murray Hay, son of John Hay and Christian Ker, in May 1842.¹ She died on 6 May 1878.¹
     From May 1842, her married name became Hay.

     Thomas Alexander Hay was born on 28 March 1843.¹ He was the son of Alexander Murray Hay and Eleanor Mylechreest.¹ He married Harriet Edwards, daughter of John Edwards, on 1 June 1871.¹ He died on 31 May 1912 at age 69.¹

     Harriet Edwards was the daughter of John Edwards.¹ She married Thomas Alexander Hay, son of Alexander Murray Hay and Eleanor Mylechreest, on 1 June 1871.¹ She died in 1920.¹
     From 1 June 1871, her married name became Hay.

     Harriet Eleanor Hay was born on 26 October 1878.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Alexander Hay and Harriet Edwards.¹

     James Shaw Hay was born on 27 February 1850.¹ He was the son of Alexander Murray Hay and Eleanor Mylechreest.¹ He married, firstly, Charlotte Anne Corlett, daughter of William Corlett, on 21 April 1880.¹ He married, secondly, Arminal Walmsley Scotson, daughter of James Scotson, on 2 October 1889.¹ He died on 29 December 1908 at age 58.¹

     William Corlett lived at Ramsay, Isle of Man^G.¹

     Charlotte Anne Corlett is the daughter of William Corlett. She married James Shaw Hay, son of Alexander Murray Hay and Eleanor Mylechreest, on 21 April 1880.¹
     From 21 April 1880, her married name became Hay.
