     Emily Burnside was the daughter of Robert Burnside.² She married Thomas Inglis Parish Harris, son of Hon. Michael Thomas Harris and Emma Martha Money, on 19 February 1838.¹ She died on 26 January 1899.¹
     From 19 February 1838, her married name became Harris.

     Lt.-Col. Thomas Harris was born on 8 May 1845.¹ He was the son of Thomas Inglis Parish Harris and Emily Burnside.² He married Lilias Annie Cole, daughter of William Turney Cole, on 23 December 1880.¹ He died on 28 March 1918 at age 72.¹
     He was Military Secretary to the Governor of Bombay between 1892 and 1895.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Middlesex Regiment.¹

     Lilias Annie Cole was the daughter of William Turney Cole.² She married Lt.-Col. Thomas Harris, son of Thomas Inglis Parish Harris and Emily Burnside, on 23 December 1880.¹ She died on 29 September 1954.¹
     From 23 December 1880, her married name became Harris.

     Major Thomas Guy Marriott Harris was born on 7 March 1882.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Harris and Lilias Annie Cole.² He married Beryl Wilson, daughter of Colonel Frederick Alexander Wilson, on 5 December 1912.¹ He died on 6 November 1955 at age 73.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     Colonel Frederick Alexander Wilson gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Army.¹

     Beryl Wilson was the daughter of Colonel Frederick Alexander Wilson.² She married Major Thomas Guy Marriott Harris, son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Harris and Lilias Annie Cole, on 5 December 1912.¹ She died in 1960.¹
     From 5 December 1912, her married name became Harris.

     Derek Marshall Harris Harris, 7th Baron Harris was born on 23 July 1916.¹ He was the son of Major Thomas Guy Marriott Harris and Beryl Wilson.² He married, firstly, Laura Cecilia McCausland, daughter of Major Edmund Thomas William McCausland, on 16 August 1938.¹ He and Laura Cecilia McCausland were divorced in 1968.¹ He married, secondly, Pauline Elisabeth (?) in 1987.¹ He died on 30 June 1996 at age 79.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Duke of Wellington's Regiment.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Harris, of Seringapatam and Mysore in the East Indies, and of Belmont, co. Kent [U.K., 1815] on 17 September 1995.¹

     Major Edmund Thomas William McCausland is the son of Conolly Thomas McCausland and Hon. Laura St. John.
     He gained the rank of Major in the Gurkha Rifles.¹
