Hon. Victor Austin Bruce was born on 8 April 1897.1 He was the son of Major Henry Campbell Bruce, 2nd Baron Aberdare of Duffryn and Constance Mary Beckett.1 He married, firstly, Mildred Mary Petre, daughter of Laurence Joseph Petre and Jennie Williams, on 16 February 1926.1 He and Mildred Mary Petre were divorced in 1941.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Charlotte Beechey, daughter of Ernest Alfred Beechey, on 19 June 1941.1 He died in 1978.1
Hon. Victor Austin Bruce was educated at Wye Agricultural College, Wye, Kent, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Second Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Marines.1
