Marianne Philpot was the daughter of Thomas Philpot.2 She married Sir John Edward Harington, 8th Bt., son of Sir James Harington, 7th Bt. and Anna Ashenhurst, on 10 April 1787.1 She died on 20 December 1824.1

Sir James Harington, 9th Bt. was born on 30 September 1788.1 He was the son of Sir John Edward Harington, 8th Bt. and Marianne Philpot.2 He married Sophia Steer, daughter of Charles Steer, on 2 April 1817.1 He died circa 2 January 1835.1 He was buried on 5 January 1835.1
He held the office of Judge.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Harington, of Ridlington, co. Rutland [E., 1611] on 9 June 1831.1

Sir John Edward Harington, 10th Bt. was born on 22 May 1821.1 He was the son of Sir James Harington, 9th Bt. and Sophia Steer.2 He married Jane Agnes Brownrigg, daughter of John Studholme Brownrigg, on 26 October 1846.1 He died on 9 February 1877 at age 55, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Harington, of Ridlington, co. Reverend Richard Harington was born on 26 April 1800.1 He was the son of Sir John Edward Harington, 8th Bt. and Marianne Philpot.2 He married, firstly, Cecilia Smith, daughter of Reverend Samuel Smith, on 1 August 1833.1 He married, secondly, Mary Paul, daughter of Reverend Samuel Woodfield Paul and Charlotte Dolben, on 2 July 1846.1 He died on 13 December 1853 at age 53.1
