     Sir Connop Thirwall Robert Guthrie, 1st Bt. was born on 6 July 1882.¹ He married Mary Islay McEacharn, daughter of Sir Malcolm Donald McEacharn, on 14 October 1913.¹ He died on 28 September 1945 at age 63.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in 1914 in the service of the Grenadier Guards (SR).¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1915, where he was wounded.¹ He was Special Representative in USA of the Ministry of Shipping between 1916 and 1919.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Commander, Order of the Crown of Italy.¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1918.¹ He was member of the USA Government Shipping Control Committee between 1918 and 1919.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Distinguished Service Medal (D.S.M.) (U.S.).¹ He was created 1st Baronet Guthrie, of Brent Eleigh Hall, co. Suffolk [U.K.] on 6 February 1936.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1941 and 1945, in the Security Division.¹

     Sir Giles Connop McEacharn Guthrie, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 March 1916.¹ He was the son of Sir Connop Thirwall Robert Guthrie, 1st Bt. and Mary Islay McEacharn.² He married Rhona Leslie Stileman, daughter of Frederic Stileman, on 17 July 1939.¹ He died on 31 December 1979 at age 63.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was winner (with C. W. A. Scott) of the Portsmouth-Johannesburg Air Race in 1936.¹ He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (A) in the service of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1941.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Guthrie, of Brent Eleigh Hall, co.      Rhona Leslie Stileman is the daughter of Frederic Stileman.² She married Sir Giles Connop McEacharn Guthrie, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Connop Thirwall Robert Guthrie, 1st Bt. and Mary Islay McEacharn, on 17 July 1939.¹
      From 17 July 1939, her married name became Guthrie. She lived in 2003 at Les Vaux, Vallée de Rozel, St. Martin, Jersey, Channel Islands.¹

     Neil Guthrie was born on 9 November 1940.¹ He was the son of Sir Giles Connop McEacharn Guthrie, 2nd Bt. and Rhona Leslie Stileman.² He died on 17 November 1940.¹

     Sir Malcolm Connop Guthrie, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 December 1942.¹ He is the son of Sir Giles Connop McEacharn Guthrie, 2nd Bt. and Rhona Leslie Stileman.² He married Victoria Willcock, daughter of Douglas Willcock, on 30 September 1967.¹
     He was educated at Millfield School, Street, Somerset, England.¹ He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Guthrie, of Brent Eleigh Hall, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1936] on 31 December 1979.¹ He was director of Favernead, a property company before 2003.¹ He lived in 2003 at Brent Eleigh, Belbroughton, Stourbridge, Worcestershire, England.¹

     Alastair Peter Guthrie was born on 7 August 1944.¹ He was the son of Sir Giles Connop McEacharn Guthrie, 2nd Bt. and Rhona Leslie Stileman.² He married Elizabeth Dorothy Margaret Schaposchnikoff, daughter of Valentin Schaposchnikoff, on 22 March 1966.¹ He died in 1986.¹
