     Robert Walter Egerton was born on 3 July 1855 at Anarkulle, Bengal, India.1,2 He was the son of Sir Robert Eyles Egerton and Mary Warren Hickey.3 He married Flora Augusta Shubrick, daughter of General Richard Shubrick and Flora Anne Gilbert, on 25 June 1887 at St. Mary Abbott's, Kensington, London, England.1,2 He died on 30 April 1933 at age 77 at Stansty Lodge, Denbighshire, Wales.1,2
     He was Chief Engineer with the Public Works Department, India.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Denbighshire.1

     From 25 June 1887, her married name became Egerton.

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Raleigh Gilbert Egerton was born on 25 September 1860.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Eyles Egerton and Mary Warren Hickey.2 He married, firstly, Bridget Watson Askew-Robertson, daughter of Watson Askew-Robertson of Pallinsburn and Ladykirk and Hon. Sarah Robertson, on 22 August 1894.1 He married, secondly, Maud Helen Prescott, daughter of Sir George Rendelsham Prescott, 4th Bt., on 21 March 1903.1 He died on 2 May 1931 at age 70.1
     He fought in the Hazara Expedition in 1888.1 He fought in the Isazai Expedition in 1892.1 Between 1894 and 1895 Waziristan Campaign.1 He fought in the Chitral Campaign in 1895.1 He fought in the Dongola Campaign in 1896.1 He fought in the Waziristan Campaign between 1901 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was commander of the 7th Infantry Brigade, Indian Expeditionary Force between 1914 and 1916.1 He was commander of the a Division of the Mesopotamia Expeditionary Force between 1916 and 1917.1 He was commander of the 3rd Indian Army Corps between 1917 and 1919.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1

     Bridget Watson Askew-Robertson was the daughter of Watson Askew-Robertson of Pallinsburn and Ladykirk and Hon. Sarah Robertson.2 She married Lt.-Gen. Sir Raleigh Gilbert Egerton, son of Sir Robert Eyles Egerton and Mary Warren Hickey, on 22 August 1894.1 She died on 23 November 1894, without issue.1
     From 22 August 1894, her married name became Egerton.

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Probyn's Horse, Indian Army.1
