     Brigadier Frederick Ivor de la Poer Garforth was the son of Frederick Garforth.² He married Irene Graves, daughter of Adolphus Edward Paget Graves and Katherine Louisa Ward, on 29 March 1921.¹ He died on 8 June 1962.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Hilda May Cruickshank was the daughter of David Cruickshank.² She married Adolphus Edward Paget Graves, son of Hon. Henry Richard Graves and Henrietta Wellesley, on 21 September 1909.¹ She died on 24 April 1966.¹
     From 21 September 1909, her married name became Graves.

     Lt.-Cdr. Vernon North Graves was born on 11 July 1911.¹ He was the son of Adolphus Edward Paget Graves and Hilda May Cruickshank.² He married Elizabeth Constance Penrose-Fitzgerald, daughter of Captain Robert Francis Uniacke Penrose-Fitzgerald, on 22 March 1947.¹ He died on 4 October 1960 at age 49, following a climbing accident.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹

     Captain Robert Francis Uniacke Penrose-Fitzgerald is the son of Charles Cooper Penrose-Fitzgerald.²

     Elizabeth Constance Penrose-Fitzgerald is the daughter of Captain Robert Francis Uniacke Penrose-Fitzgerald.² She married Lt.-Cdr. Vernon North Graves, son of Adolphus Edward Paget Graves and Hilda May Cruickshank, on 22 March 1947.¹
     She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ She was in the Women's Royal Naval Service during the Second World War between 1940 and 1946.¹ From 22 March 1947, her married name became Graves. She lived in 2003 at 90 Stockton Lane, York, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Janice Penrose Iona Graves was born on 29 December 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Vernon North Graves and Elizabeth Constance Penrose-Fitzgerald.² She married, firstly, Stephen Van Simons, son of Dennis Daniel Simons, on 19 October 1968.¹ She and Stephen Van Simons were divorced in 1974.¹ She married, secondly, Christopher Bernard Rose in 1980.¹
     From 19 October 1968, her married name became Simons. From 1980, her married name became Rose.¹ She lived in 2003 at 18 Market Place, Kirkbymoorside, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Stephen Van Simons is the son of Dennis Daniel Simons.¹ He married Janice Penrose Iona Graves, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Vernon North Graves and Elizabeth Constance Penrose-Fitzgerald, on 19 October 1968.¹ He and Janice Penrose Iona Graves were divorced in 1974.¹

     Isobel Jane Simons was born on 5 July 1972.¹ She is the daughter of Stephen Van Simons and Janice Penrose Iona Graves.² She married Peter Rogers.¹
     Her married name became Rogers.
