     Valerie Heathcote was born on 20 April 1929.1 She is the daughter of Major Eustace Cleveland Heathcote and Marie Macmurrough Kavanagh.2
     She was 2nd Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service.1

     Eustace Heathcote was born on 14 April 1815.1 He was the son of Reverend Samuel Heathcote and Catherine Pickering.2 He married Caroline Harriet Munro, daughter of Matthew Munro, on 15 December 1849.1 He died in 1881.1
     He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Hampshire Militia.1

Caroline Harriet Munro1

     Caroline Harriet Munro was the daughter of Matthew Munro.1 She married Eustace Heathcote, son of Reverend Samuel Heathcote and Catherine Pickering, on 15 December 1849.1 She died on 22 May 1897.1
      From 15 December 1849, her married name became Heathcote.
