     Sir William Gerard, 7th Bt. was born on 4 September 1721.1 He was the son of Sir William Gerard, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Clifton.2 He died on 22 March 1740 at age 18, unmarried.1
     He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Gerard, of Bryn, co. Palatine of Lancaster [E., 1611] on 9 December 1732.1

     He succeeded to the title of 8th Baronet Gerard, of Bryn, co. Palatine of Lancaster [E., 1611] on 22 March 1740.1
