George Gamble was born on 10 February 1858.1 He was the son of Sir David Gamble, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Haddock.2 He married Mary Watts, daughter of Reverend James Percival Watts, on 1 March 1884.1 He died on 14 February 1911 at age 53.1
