     Walter Bermingham, 4th Lord Athenry was the son of Thomas Bermingham, 3rd Lord Athenry and Edina McEgan.1 He died in 1428.1 He was buried at Athenry Priory, Athenry, County Galway, IrelandG.1
     He was also known as Walter 'Mor'.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Athenry [I., c. 1280] in 1373.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Connaught in 1388.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Connaught in 1400.1

     Thomas FitzWalter Bermingham, 5th Lord Athenry was born circa 1383.1 He was the son of Walter Bermingham, 4th Lord Athenry.1 He died circa 1473.1
     In 1402 he was enfeoffed by his cousin, Sir Walter Bermingham, in the manors of Knockgraffin and Kiltenenan.1 He succeeded as the 5th Lord Athenry [I., c. 1280] in 1428.1

     Richard Bermingham is the son of Walter Bermingham, 4th Lord Athenry.1
     He disputed the succession of his nephew, Thomas Bermingham, to the title of Lord Athenry.1 Richard Bermingham also went by the nick-name of Old Richard.1 Richard Bermingham also went by the nick-name of Richard 'of the wine'.1

     Annabel de Burgh married Thomas Bermingham, 6th Lord Bermingham, son of Thomas FitzWalter Bermingham, 5th Lord Athenry.1
     After her marriage, Annabel de Burgh was styled as Baroness Athenry. She was also known as Annabel Bourke.1 Her married name became Bermingham.1
