     Robert Jestyn Gwent Forestier-Walker was born on 2 October 1919.1 He was the son of Charles Evelyn Forestier-Walker and Ada Llewelyn Mansel.2 He married Elizabeth Ann Willans, daughter of Brigadier John Harte Harris Willans, on 3 August 1956.1 He died on 28 September 1994 at age 74.1
      Robert Jestyn Gwent Forestier-Walker usually went by his middle name of Gwent.1 He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, Where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Institute of British Architects (F.R.I.B.A.).1
