     Katherine Stewart was the daughter of Gordon Stewart of Drumin.2 She married Reverend George Forbes of Lochell, son of John Forbes of Bellabeg and Christian Shepherd, on 28 November 1767.1 She died on 3 November 1808.1
     From 28 November 1767, her married name became Forbes.

Sir Charles Forbes of Newe, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Charles Forbes of Newe, 1st Bt. was born on 3 April 1773.1 He was the son of Reverend George Forbes of Lochell and Katherine Stewart.2 He married Elizabeth Cotgrave, daughter of Major John Cotgrave, on 28 February 1800.1 He died on 20 November 1849 at age 76.1
     He was a Bombay merchant.1 He was created 1st Baronet Forbes, of Newe [U.K.] on 4 November 1823.1 In 1833 he was declared heir male to 3rd Lord Pitsligo and allowed the Pitsligo arms and supporters by the Lyon Office.1

     Elizabeth Cotgrave is the daughter of Major John Cotgrave.1 She married Sir Charles Forbes of Newe, 1st Bt., son of Reverend George Forbes of Lochell and Katherine Stewart, on 28 February 1800.1
     From 28 February 1800, her married name became Forbes.

     John Forbes was born on 15 December 1801.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Forbes of Newe, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Cotgrave.2 He married Mary Jane Hunter, daughter of Henry Lannoy Hunter, on 10 December 1828.1 He died on 20 December 1840 at age 39.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1

     Sir Charles Forbes of Newe, 2nd Bt. was born on 15 July 1832.1 He was the son of John Forbes and Mary Jane Hunter.2 He died on 23 May 1852 at age 19, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Forbes, of Newe [U.K., 1823] on 20 November 1849.1

     George Forbes was born on 13 September 1805.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Forbes of Newe, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Cotgrave.2 He married Johanna Agnes Forbes, daughter of John Hopton Forbes and Johanna Catherine Heath, on 16 March 1843.1 He died on 22 January 1863 at age 57, without issue.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hampshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.1 He lived at Bereleigh, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
