James Graham Adam was born on 30 July 1800.1 He was the son of Francis Adam.1 He married Jane Brown McIndoe, daughter of Charles McIndoe and Janet Buchanan, on 4 December 1835.1 He died on 24 February 1860 at age 59.1

Alexander Ogilvy, 4th of Deskford and Findlater was the son of James Ogilvy, 3rd of Deskford and Findlater and Lady Agnes Gordon.2 He married, firstly, Janet Abernethy, daughter of James Abernethy, 3rd Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and unknown wife (?).1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Gordon, daughter of Adam Gordon, before 1535.1 He died in July 1544.3
He resigned his lands to the Crown, creating the Barony of Ogilvy which was entailed on him and his heirs.1

General Sir Ronald Forbes Adam, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 October 1885.1 He was the son of Sir Frank Forbes Adam, 1st Bt. and Rose Frances Kemball.2 He married Anna Dorothy Pitman, daughter of Frederic Islay Pitman, on 7 January 1915.1 He died on 26 December 1982 at age 97.1
He was commissioned in 1905, in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War, in France and Italy, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Forbes Adam, of Hankelow Court, co.
